Socket artists in Nottingham University’s final BA Fine Art shows

Socket artists Barbara Clayton, Sue Greenaway, Jane Pepper, Gill Hugman Perkins, Nicola Rae, Janet Turville, and Helen Williams are all taking part in shows at the Djanogly Gallery, Lakeside, to mark the final closure of the University of Nottingham’s part-time BA Fine Art course.

Exhibitions of work by teaching staff, alumni and graduate resident artists accompany the 2016 Degree Show. Barbara Clayton, Jane Pepper, Nicola Rae, Janet Turville and Helen Williams are amongst 11 artists taking part in the Graduate Residents’ Show, curated by Janet Turville. Socket artist and course leader Gill Hugman Perkins is part of the Staff Show whilst Sue Greenaway features in the Alumni Exhibition.

All the shows are now open, and there will a combined PV on Wed 15th June 6-8pm. The Graduate residents show runs until Thur 23rd June whilst the other exhibitions continue until Sun 3rd July. Opening times are 11-5pm Mon-Sat and 12-4pm Sun – see the Lakeside exhibitions brochure for full details.
